
The winning filmmaker will receive a ONE week theatrical run in LA complete with PR, street team and social media support, as well as a mentoring session with an established director and/or producer.
20 films will be granted the opportunity to receive a direct digital access package to outlets such as Hulu, iTunes, Netflix etc. courtesy of WBP Award partner IndieFlix.
The final films will be reviewed by a panel consisting of well-established directors, producers, actors and film critics.
The WBP Award has evolved and the deadline has been extended.

Submission fees are used to facilitate and manage a theatrical run in Los Angeles.
We accept Credit Cards, American Express, Visa, or Mastercard. We also accept US checks/money orders.
Payment in US dollars may be made by check/money order (from a US bank in US Dollars only) and should be made payable to “IndieFlix Inc.” In the memo section, please list your film title as well as the film ID assigned to you by our submission process.
Do not send cash.
If you choose to pay by check, you may enclose a check with your completed, signed submission form. If not doing a digital upload, also enclose your DVD masters. Ship to the address below.
You must send a signed and completed submission form with your film. Please be sure all materials are marked with the appropriate title, as well as the film ID assigned to you by our submission process. Features of 72 minutes and over made within the last 5 years are eligible. The only stipulation is that the film has not played theatrically in LA or surrounding areas.
All non-digital materials must be delivered together in one package. Do not deliver your submission materials until you have completed your online entry and ensured that your name, film title, and assigned film ID is printed clearly on all materials. Those who choose to deliver their submission digitally may scan/email or fax a copy of their signed submission form to Kevin Nesgoda, WBP Award Filmmaker Relations - kevin@indieflix.com FAX: 206-829-9113.
If your film is selected for theatrical exhibition, please be advised that we require one the following:
For all submissions, include the English language title and the running time on the DVD itself. Indicate the region-coding of the disc, and, if the DVD is in PAL format, print “PAL” on the disc.
You may submit one Feature entry per person.
All costs for shipping submission materials to IndieFlix are the responsibility of the sender. Ship your DVD’s in a protective envelope. The WBP Award recommends bubble-pack envelopes over fiber-pack envelopes as the fiber type can lead to damaged DVDs and DVD players The WBP Award is not responsible for damage to submitted materials incurred in shipping.
All entries from outside the US should be sent Air Mail Registered or by a parcel or express service. We cannot accept entries shipped via air-freight if customs and delivery fees have not been paid.
For confirmation of receipt, include a self-addressed stamped postcard with your entry. WBP Award will not confirm receipt of submitted materials by telephone or email.
Submitted materials will not be returned
No paper press kits are accepted (save the planet). An electronic press kit for feature length films can be submitted on a separate DVD or CD, or uploaded. The name of the film and "Press Kit" must be written directly on the disc. Send to kevin@indieflix.com.
